Exciting Week

We had an exciting week.

Firstly, we were invited to Bailey's 2nd birthday celebrations at Pawtobello. We had lots of fun eating the entire night. (HC : I think Joey meant they had fun sniffing and eating food off the floor the entire night! No wonder they poo so much the next day! hahaha)

Sorry there are no pictures cos HC was already late from work and was in too much of a hurry to leave the house with us to remember to bring along a camera.

Anyway, Happy Birthday Bailey! I hope you enjoy all your presents!

We were also stuck at home some nights due to sudden downpour.

So I decide to rough play with my favorite rabbit - "labbit".

After a while, HC decided I was hurting labbit too much and tried to snatch him away from me.

Can you tell what is missing?
HC said I am banned from playing with labbit until she has the time to perform surgery on him.

With time on my paws, I decided to peek at what Jack's doing.

Oh my god... Jack is starting to resemble my labbit! (hint : bunny teeth!)
Jack was really pissed when he realised I secretly took an unglam pic of him, and decided not to return to his bed.

All in all, I had a fun time!

Homeopathic Medicines and a Heavenly Weekend

Our homeopathic medication just arrived from "Down Under"!

As you may be aware, HC is very particular about keeping us as 'natural' as possible. Besides a natural raw diet and treats, HC tried to supplement the usual canine medications with natural, homeopathic ones.

From left to right : homeopathic formulas for arthritis, heartworm free, plaqgone and droolo.

The last bottle got me puzzled... DROOLO??

Take a closer look...

Why did HC get this? This is really an insult to us, cos we do not drool!

(HC : hehehe... it comes as a package with the plaqgone, which as the name implies - helps to remove plague. Now the Droolo is kept away until I get another dog that has a drooling problem :))

And over the weekend, HC did something to please us.

She went to the market and bought lots of fresh food - chicken necks, chicken fillets, duck liver, and lamb organs to dry as treats for us.

Ta-da... drying-in-process : lamb liver, lungs and heart.

Drying-in-process : duck liver.

Finished product - Dried Chicken Necks.

Yummy... this is definitely a heavenly weekend!

What we've been up to...

As I've mentioned a few posts earlier, HC recently has been allowing us to play in our neighbourhood. Besides trying to make friends with the cats, I do my usual thing - "playing fetch" .

All attention now.. HC is making a throw..

After about 20 mins of non-stop fetching, I was finally satisfied enough to calm down for a reasonably decent shot.

Pant Pant Pant!
While I was doing my usual thing, Jack was doing likewise.

Guarding and watching... Look at his serious face.

The following are long overdue posts.

Herbie blog about restaurant outing long ago, and now I am finally going to post about it.

While Herbie, Helios and Scuba were at one end of the table, Tommy and us were at the other end. Sharing the same fate as H, H and S - we tried to beg but were not successful. I think the restaurant suck big time!

(HC : That's so not true! The food was terrific, and the waiters' friendly albeit forgetful. Most importantly, they are okay with dogs).

Here's how we behaved the entire night! (Hoping for food to drop from the table).

Goofy Tommy. He was trying to play with me underneath the table and accidently bang his head (very loud) on the table. The humans were shocked for a moment and started laughing at him.

Then Jack did a most embarrassing thing. A lady wearing a long dress walked pass, and Jack put his head underneath her dress! The lady was so shocked, and an embarrassed HC had to apologise. After that, we overhead her 'complaining' to her boyfriend that Jack peeked at her underneath the dress. Jack was lucky the boyfriend didn't walked over and whack him.. heehee.

More overdue post - "Sembawang Park"
We had not been to Sembawang Park for almost 2 years, and HC finally decided to bring us to our old haunt.

Butt in the air
Resting among the green green grass.
I was happy to check out this old haunt again.

So was Jack!
As it was a very warm day, we were so tired that we snoozed on the ride home.

Bullied

I am being bullied. Not by Jack, but by this little human terror whenever we visits our grandparents.

This two year old has always loved Jack since young. And "Jack" was one of the first word she speaks.

For some unknown reasons, she is extremely fascinated with me nowadays. Maybe it has got to do with 1 little incident when she kicked Jack, and Jack barked furiously and pushed her back. (HC : Thank god Jack didn't bite her!)

Anyway, my point is....

I am being bullied and HC is not doing anything about it! In fact, HC helped the little terror to leash me and walked me around the house.

It was totally not fun to be leashed and walked around the house aimlessly. And, to add to my misery, the little terror will sing at the top of her voice happily while walking me. Think I am going deaf soon!

The only good thing from her loving me too much is that I get to go to the playground with her.

We played the slides.. and of course, I had to pose for the camera.. sigh...
(HC : Joey is very tolerant towards children, which is a good thing cos the little terror my niece tends to be very rowdy at times.)

My Neighbours

Recently, HC has been letting me play in my neighbourhood.

And I realised I have weird neighbours.

This orange fat one likes to sleep inside a drain.

According to HC, this orange cat is very affectionate. He loves to run to HC when he saw her, purring and asking for tummy rubs.

Seeing how friendly he is to HC, I decided to see if he minds my company.

After a while, he showed me his favourite hiding place.

Joey : mmmm... is that where you like to hide?

Later, I saw his room mate and decided to go and say Hi.
But his body language is entirely different from the orange fat cat. He seems tense and wary... I wonder why.

Since he is quite tense in my presence, I decided to show him I meant no harm by not making sudden move.
But he is still giving me his evil eye!

Wonder when he will lose his guard and be nicer to me?

It died..... and a walk in the park

My laptop died!

After serving me for a faithful 2.5 yrs, she died on me two days ago.

HC sent my beloved lappy to be resurrected and hopefully she can get a replacement 'heart'(hard disk). HC said that the surgery will take about a week, and probably will not cost her any money cos we have extended insurance on her (the lappy, I mean).

Since HC can no longer borrow my lappy to do online shopping, she decided to make use of the free time to bring us for a long walk.

A happy pose!

U like my side profile?

After posing for a few pictures, I started to demand for my ball.

Playing retrieving game with HC.

After playing for 20mins in the hot sun, I laid down on the soft green (and brown) grass for a breather.

While I was playing fetch, HC made Jack sat on the bench so that she can keep an eye on me.

I wonder if we can get more walks since HC has more time on her hands now :)
