Abandoned Dog
Another abandoned dog at the park... sigh...
Yesterday morning, a old dachshund was found inside the dog run by himself. A auntie who was walking her dog saw him and decided to feed him some water and food. Then, she left him in the park. In the evening, she came by again with her daughter to see if the dog's still there. Sadly, he was. Initially, they wanted to bring to SPCA but a few people told them that as the dachshund is old and has a lump on his skin, most likely, the dog will be put to sleep. I guess they later don't have the heart and decided to bring him home for the time being.
I find the behavior of the human who abandoned the old dachshund appalling. How could he has the heart to abandon a dog who has faithfully and loyally served him all these years? Sigh..... to think we watch over you, your family and your house like a hawk, yet when we grow old, you threw us out.
I hope you will be abandoned by your kids later when you grow old too. Serve you right!
In the meantime, I pray that you will step on dog poo whenever you go out, bird shit on your head all the time, attack by some pack of unknown ferocious dogs at night, crows nip and monkeys spit on your head, whenever you walk pass them.
I hope you have a miserable life, you idiot!
(HC : the dog was a sorry sight. He was apparently quite old, and his eyes were so miserable. He was sitting quietly with his head on the woman's lap as if to seek some comfort. And when the woman walked away.. he quietly just followed her hoping she will not abandoned him.)

your description of the daschund make me feel sad.. i always hate it that humans can be so heartless to our four legged companions who gave us much joy and share with us our sorrows.. i really hope that there is karma..

I was also abandoned!!! was waiting at the same area for at least 2-3 days for my ex-owner to come back! so sad... and I keep running away when strangers tried to approach me. Finally got hooked by this female silky and followed her home.. hehe.. ti-ko ma..

moi was abandoned.. my alpha's brother found me wandering.. then brought me home.. he got tired of me cos he realized i bite humans.. kekeke. then my alpha decided that i need training and exercise and i nid to listen to her or i dun get my dinner. and she also told me that i must not go and bite people over food.
i think my stupid brother ice is not really considered adopted cos he was not really unwanted in the first place.
and ME TOO !! I was rescued !!! so errr ... in a sense adopted I think.
Umhhhh ... How come adopted / rescued dogs all have blogs ah ? I know !!! Prove to our EX-OWNER that we can survived BETTER without them !!! hump !!!!

Tara (female JRT) was abandoned in Bishan park when she is only 2-3 months old! But she was picked up almost immediately. Sigh... the advantage of being young and beautiful

Hi Joey, in addition to all your 'wishes' to that evil owner, here are my wishes too...
1.) miss all his buses/taxis/MRTs when he goes out
2.) forever will not strike lottery
3.) may he fall into a drain during a rainy day and hope no one rescues him until the next day
4.) *ultimate wish* may he never be able to sleep well at night and hope that he will be left all alone and betrayed by his loved ones.

This entry made me so angry! I've never been so angry in my 15 years of life. How can someone be so heartless and abandon an old dog?!?!
I'm also an old dog. Old dogs are to be pampered and treasured, not abandoned!

hi everyone, so disgusting to read of the abandoned dog!!! on sunday morning when my mum took me to bishan park, a couple approached her to ask if anyone wanted to adopt a 9 yr old Maltese as they were gonna migrate. My Mum advised them to give their dog to one of their friends instead.
BTW, I was adopted by my current Mum too! I was a sickly dog with baldy chest....look at me now! I now have a better life than before...yay!

yes joey i was adopted by my mum when i was 9 mths old.
my mum thinks i look like a 'pung2' pig! she has threatened to put me on on diet soon! i dont look forward to that day!
